Terms of Service

The service

HoopVault is an organizational tool for basketball coaches and individual players — film and notes, practice planning, scouting reports, game stats, goals, and development tracking. Anyone can browse a HoopVault workspace for free; a paid subscription is required to add or edit content.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

Subscriptions & billing

Coach/Team plans are $20/month and Individual Player plans are $5/month, billed automatically through Stripe until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your Billing page — cancelling stops future billing, and you keep access to paid features through the end of the period you've already paid for. Subscription charges are non-refundable except where required by law; if you think you were charged in error, email us and we'll look into it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you don't have the right to share (film, images, or otherwise).
• Use HoopVault to harass, defame, or violate the privacy of any person, including opposing players or coaches.
• Attempt to access another workspace's data or interfere with the service's normal operation.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or enter into HoopVault — film links, notes, images, rosters, and everything else. By uploading it, you grant us a limited license to store and display it back to you and your team, solely to provide the service. If you believe content on HoopVault infringes your copyright, email us at the address below with a description of the content and we'll investigate.

Our content

The HoopVault name, logo, and the software itself are our property. These terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond using the service as intended.

Termination

You can stop using HoopVault and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

HoopVault is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of HoopVault is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
